in the words of the students….
On Tuesday night as part of agIdeas our studio was a part of Studio Access, where we invited 25 people into our studio from the agIdeas conference. It was a fantastic night and we had some great conversations – below is a collage of some of the comments from the students at the end of the night on our whiteboard. Thanks guys!

customise your moleskine
The clever people at Engrave Your Book have created a way to beautifully personalise your Moleskine stationery.
These very special leather covers are created from existing designs, or you can upload your own work of art!
They slip perfectly over your Moleskin journal so you can use them again and again and again and again and again and again and again…

first two at agIdeas
Just got back from the first two sessions at agIdeas. It was great hearing from six different speakers from different disciplines and backgrounds. I found it incredibly insightful hearing from other professionals – each person had a story to tell about their process and it definitely opened my eyes to areas I had the least knowledge of such as architecture and industrial design. My favourites from the morning would have to be Micheal Mabry and Eamo. And yes, you can probably call me biased, as my obvious choice would have to be for their line of illustration and I really enjoyed what they had to share.
I also liked what Richard Ferlazzo, Chief Designer at GM Holden Design had to say about the impact of designers: “Good design makes a difference… (designers are) anonymous guests in the lives of others.” A lovely thought that’s kinda stewing in my mind now.. So, whose guest are you and what are you doing about it?
