Another Great Artist

About a month ago, I accidentally discovered my new favorite artist.

Walking in a daze along Elizabeth Street, I found myself staring at a book in the window of a familiar art gallery. The art gallery, Outré. The book, a new publication by Outré, called Tattoo Parlour.

So I went inside, picked up the book, and began looking through the pages. And who did I discover? Angelique Houtkamp, drawing and painting (and tattooing) from the other side of the world.

St. Ali Laneway Party

If you’re not doing anything this Saturday, come down to South Melbourne! St. Ali is hosting a laneway party with DJs, BBQ, alleycat racing (I don’t know what that really is but sounds like fun) and live painting (10 murals, 10 artists), curated by a friend of mine, Drewfunk! Also, if that’s not enough of an incentive, St. Ali does really good coffee – so just drop by for a lil pick-me-up!

6th of Feb, starts 12pm to late. Party’s at Yarra Place, South Melbourne.
