What is the unique skill or quality that you bring to Blueboat?
I think it's the way I bring people together, to achieve, as a unified team aware of each others brilliance. I'm passionate about bringing the absolute best out of anyone and anything I do, every day. It's a tough rule to live by, but you only get one crack at this life, so may as well make the journey awesome. 

How and where did you learn this skill?
I have to say. Like Lady Gaga, baby I was born this way. 

Which piece of work has been the highlight of your career so far, either before or at Blueboat?
I'd have to say for me, highlight projects need to be one of two things – either complex, multi-faceted and intellectually challenging in both a creative and project management sense; and/or involve film. There is nothing more satisfying than conveying a unique narrative via the most engaging experience on this planet – and that is film.

What string would you like to add to your bow in 2013?
Interesting question. In 2013, I am braving new waters and stepping out of the studio for 12 months. And while it sounds a piece of sweet cake, it is also challenging on the level where for the last 18 years, on a day to day basis the studio is all that I have known. This year I am testing out my unique skill and watching the team I've put together, kick major goals; and absorbing myself in the world of film. Just me and a laptop. What excites you when you are not at work?
At this point in time I'm excited by watching my teenage kids become the people they will be. All the hard yards of parenting becomes tangible. They are incredible people. Traveling anywhere with Mark, we have fantastic adventures – waist deep mud et al. And high on my priorities, getting my third act to sing.
